So I didn't see a topic for raids up yet so I figured I would start one First off, I do not believe that a Raid has to be all about loot, though some do have better loot ratios than others. For me a Raid is a good way for everyone to get together, share some fun and learn how to play as a team (as a guild we are a team and the more we play together, the better we will become). Whether it be level 1 toons in a little newbie dungeon or temped out 50's in a high end Epic area, it can be fun either way I am thinking about starting a regular basis Raid for Sunday evenings, but am unsure of everyone else's playtimes. Please let me know what you think about Sunday evening raids and if interested, your possible play times. Also drop some ideas here about what your would like to to or places you would like to Raid, I am open to suggestions. Truthfully, I am looking more into guild raids than big Epic raids (Caer Sidi, Galadoria, Tuscaren Glacier, Dragons) as I am not as good at some of that kinda stuff and it takes many more people. Epic raids I will leave to Amy/Deal from bk as they are very good at organizing and running them. It is ok if we invite others from the /as to join us if they wish so long as it isn't a insta with player # cutoffs and they understand what the goal is. Let me know what ya think Pete/Siolith

Everything sounds good Pete. As you have probably noticed over the past year my play time has dwindled from what you and I used to play, but Marrian and I have been wanting to set up a weekly guild raid for a while now. We would like to do things like Darkspire and such. We have never done hib or mid Darkspire but we are very good at Alb DS hehe.

Darkspire is a good one, lots of fun and good loot all in one neat package.
If your good at one your good at all 3. There is not much difference between them honestly. As long as everyone pays attention and doesn't aggro bosses before the group is setup things will go super smoothe.
Not sure how you guys do it but I prefer what is called the Box method personally. This method consists of 3 shield/dps tanks (warriors/valks/wardens with 42+ shield works great), 2 pbae, 1 archer, 1 shammy, 1 cleric. everyone stands in a tight group (hence the Box terminology), archer pulls to group, pbae bombs......rinse....repeat.....easy as pie DS setup, but if you have better ideas I am open to it ;D
Also is good to have one person with a rezzer parked out front so that if we wipe, one can release....quit.....rez....and then run back real quick to continue with raid.

Raids sound good to me However, my game play has been rather lacking lately, (although I will admit to being slightly distracted on Lancelot the last week), and being in the UK, the time difference makes it difficult to join in the various 'event's that have been arranged as they start too late for me But if there is one I can make, I'll certainly be along

You can do DS with just about any setup as long as you have 2 healers. I say 2 just in case the first gets aggro...but only one has to be dedicated to healing.
